Omnimed Attends UEG Week in Copehagen

Omnimed attended EAG Week, held in Copenhagen from 14th-17th October.

EAG Week is organised by United European Gastroenterology (UEG) (link is external) , the leading non-profit organisation for excellence in digestive health in Europe and beyond. The event is one of many initiatives from UEG which improve the prevention and care of digestive diseases across Europe through the provision of top level education, supporting research and advancing clinical standards

EAG Week also provided an opportunity to meet up with Professor Pradeep Bhandari and our colleagues from The Standard Co. Ltd, the manufacturer of our leading endoscopic tattoo marker, Black Eye™.

Professor Bhandari is a leading gastroenterologist in the UK and Deputy VP Endoscopy at the British Society of Gastroenterology, a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and as a Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Portsmouth.

You may have seen Professor Bhandari in this video where he demonstrates his best practice technique for tattoo marking of a polyp in the descending colon using Black Eye™, a sterile and reliable endoscopic marker.

Managing Director, Michael Morris said "Omnimed is committed to continuing its support for the medical community through participation in events such as EAG Week, where it was great to learn about developments in how we can better help patients, improve our understanding of their conditions and of course, meet up with our colleagues to discuss which products can help provide the best patient care."

Omnimed would like to extend its gratitude to UEG for organising such an informative and inspiring event.
